Can they be installed in saline environments?
Yes, absolutely. All our TIL Flex Water IP68 are resistant to chlorine, salt, light solvents and UV rays. We offer a performance warranty in almost all environmental conditions, supported by hundreds of applications carried out and in existence in Italy and Europe as well as in America and the Middle East.
Can they be cut to size?
All our TIL Flex Water IP68 are made to measure with extreme precision and are supplied on request and on design to be ready for installation. For this reason, after production they cannot be modified or cut as they would lose their watertight IP68 seal.
Can they be bent at 90°?
Every TIL Flex Water Strip can be curved with a specific radius based on the model. Those with 90° angles must instead be made using watertight junctions only during production. In this case, they must be requested during the quotation phase.
How are TIL Flex Water installed?
For recessed or flush-mounted installations, it is possible to use stainless steel counter-frames made to measure. In all other cases, for quick applications without extra work, they can simply be glued with specific waterproof adhesives even supplied by us. The flexibility of the body and compatibility with different materials allow perfect aesthetic integration even in complex or curved spaces.
How long do LEDs effectively last underwater?
Today's LED technology can achieve operating lifespans of up to 50,000 hours (under normal use conditions). The use of polyurethane resins, which provide protection and IP68 insulation for LED Strips, guarantees the same lifespan even in underwater installation conditions and special contexts.
Can TIL Flex Water IP68 be controlled via smartphone or voice assistants?
Certainly. All our systems are fully compatible with the most widespread home automation protocols. Using our Wi-Fi or Bluetooth control unit, you can manage lighting, intensity, and color change (RGB/RGBW) directly from your smartphone via a dedicated app, or via voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
What happens if the LED strip is accidentally hit (e.g. by a child or a tool)?
The Til Flex Water IP68 products have a high degree of mechanical protection. The polyurethane resin is not only waterproof, but remains flexible over time acting as shock absorber. Our strips are resistant to impacts and can be stepped on (not run over) guaranteeing maximum safety for bathers.
What is the maximum length that can be powered with a single power cable?
Our Til Flex Water IP68, depending on the LED power and thanks to integrated technologies, can reach lengths up to 12-15 meters linear with single power supply. With double power supply (head/tail) lengths up to 50 meters can also be reached.
At what maximum depth can the products be installed?
The Til Flex Water IP68 are resistant to pressure and humidity and have been tested at depths of over 50 meters without any variations or damage.
